Captain Rita A. Miller, served her country for 24 years in the WWII Army Nurse Corps, Occupation Forces and Fayetteville VA Hospital. Family and friends gathered together to celebrate her 100th birthday with a parade including the Fayettevile Fire Dept., Police Dept., NWA Women's Veteran's, Veterans Council of NWA, Patriot Riders, St. Joseph's Catholic Church staff, Lewis Ford representatives and many friends. She would like to thank everyone who drove by to deliver cards and well wishes. It was one of the best days of her life and that she is looking forward to 101!
