Lauren Sophia Wentz and Mark Franklin Simon Jr. were married on October 15, 2016 at Holland Barn in Highfill, Arkansas with Pastor Kirk Anderson officiating. The bride is the daughter of David and Andrea Wentz of Fayetteville. She is a graduate of the University of Arkansas with a master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology. She is employed at Children's Therapy T.E.A.M in Fayetteville. The groom is the son of Mark Simon, Sr. of Bella Vista and Sally Ferguson of Pea Ridge. He is employed by the city of Rogers Fire Department and will begin the paramedic program in the spring of 2017. The maid of honor was Julie Spies, and the best man was Oscar Sanchez. After a honeymoon in Cozumel, Mexico, the couple are residing in Rogers.
