The lake at Ferncliff Camp & Conference Center in Little Rock was the setting for the May 14, 2016, marriage of Brooke Parker to Jason Edwards. Brooke is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. John R. E. Dickins of Little Rock and the late Robert A. Parker of Benton. Jason is the son of Mrs. Dorothy Edwards and the late Macon Edwards of Cabot. Rev. Jeff Price and Rev. David Gill officiated the ceremony. Creation care is very important to the bride and groom and Eco-Social Events helped make their wedding at Ferncliff fit with its mission and ministry focused on "growing green hearts" by recycling, reducing and reusing. Guests at the rehearsal dinner packed meals for Stop Hunger Now, an international school feeding program, in honor of all wedding attendees. They will reside in Fayetteville where Brooke is an Elementary School Teacher and Jason is an Assistant Principal, both in the Fayetteville Public School System.
