Leanne Scaggs and Moisés Colón Ponce, of Springdale, are thrilled to announce their engagement. Leanne is the daughter of Paul and Pam Scaggs of Springdale, the granddaughter of Willis and Bonita Duncan of Springdale and of Jane Scaggs from Peace Valley, MO. A graduate from University of Arkansas and Wichita State University, Leanne is on faculty at Texas A&M University. Moisés is the son of Nilda Ponce Valentín and Moisés Colón Rivera of Siloam Springs, the grandson of Wilberto Ponce Santos and Bernalda Valentín Vega of Lares, Puerto Rico, and of Milagros Rivera Hernandez from Adjuntas, Puerto Rico. Mr. Colón is an independent software developer and is currently employed with the University of Arkansas as an IT-Specialist/Computer Operator. The happy couple met in 2012 and a May wedding is planned in Mountainburg, AR.
